full property solutions
Nobody knows your property better than you and nobody knows how to keep an eye on it better than the team at Land Watch! We look forward to working with you as we develop your custom property solution. The example below shows what a Land Watch solution looks like and what features may be implemented. Each location is connected to the homestead via a Land Watch Link.
REPEATER STATION
If line of sight is blocked by timber or a ridgeline, a repeater station allows for continued connection for back paddock systems from the house.
SHEDS
Shed mounted cameras for security over the workshop, machinery and fuel. As well as a Wi-Fi access point to provide internet access.
DAIRY
Cameras mounted around dairy to watch staff and check on stock. As well as a Wi-Fi access point to provide internet.
COTTAGE
Internet extension to secondary accommodation that otherwise has limited reception or connectivity.
PTZ CAMERA
Pan, Tilt, Zoom camera that reaches up to 400m away. Control from your phone to track vehicle movements and monitor stock, troughs and tanks.
WI-FI ACCESS
Long range outdoor Wi-Fi, giving you the ability to turn things off and on such as pumps from your phone.
HOUSE
The house is usually the base station and includes the recording unit with a hard drive, a monitor for live viewing, and connection to the internet.
MAIN ENTRY
Trip line alerts every time a vehicle passes through the gate from a solar powered camera. Optional upgrade to an ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) to ensure no details are missed.
The Custom Solution Design Process
The first task is to figure out where we can help you! This is the easy part for you – think about the repetitive jobs you are doing or the vulnerable parts of your property that are exposed to theft. Like any good muster, the Land Watch design process starts with a mud map. Whatever form this takes, a pen and paper, list of GPS coordinates, aerial photo or complete Google Earth kmz. file, we can work with it. No stick drawings in the dust though please. It just needs to show the main details of your property – including the location of the main homestead and the proposed camera locations. Additional details regarding the main and secondary entrances, secondary dwellings and the yards/sheds are also very relevant and will help us with the plan. If you’re unsure, give us a call and we can chat with you about this process.
